Who is Erica Schulte? Erica was born and raised in Kansas City and dove into the hospitality industry early. After joining the nascent craft beer scene with positions as a corporate trainer for Yard House and The Flying Saucer Draught Emporium, Erica became one of the first women in the Midwest to become a Certified Cicerone in 2012. Her experience continued behind the lines in 2016, as she completed the MicroMatic Advanced Draft Tech course, enabling her to build out draft systems suitable for beer, wine, and cocktails. She also moved into management, joining the Back Napkin Restaurant Group as a general manager and marketing director, overseeing high-volume restaurants.
Erica diversified her experience in 2017 as she joined J. Rieger & Co. Distillery. As a national brand manager, she grew sales consistently in 24 states before joining the team at Beam Suntory in 2021. Her local and national experience with J. Rieger and Beam Suntory gave her an acute understanding of managing national accounts, liquid development, working with distributors across state lines, brand strategy, and event marketing. She was nominated as the Brilliance of Beam Suntory and Community Call Out in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
Over the course of nearly twenty years of experience, Erica has gained an acute understanding of the connections that last–what makes a drink more than a drink and how to create an environment that fosters hospitality. With her commitment to education and Midwest hospitality, she believes that Rose Productions will create moments that create memories for her brand partners. Learn more about Rose Productions.
